Gilia Smith serves as Director of Academic Relations for ProQuest, where she manages content acquisition relationships with universities in Australia, New Zealand and North America. She has worked in academic affairs at the University of Michigan, Columbia and Harvard. She holds a doctorate in Higher Education Research from the University of Michigan.

Jess Byrne, Senior Product Marketing Manager

Jessica Villalta Byrne is the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Dissertations and TDM Studio. She has been with ProQuest for 2 1/2 years and has been in EdTech for nearly 18 years, serving in aspects of design, intellectual property licensing, product development, and marketing.
