As national and states libraries embrace their move from volume to value to impact, the first Video in our series will focus on Ex Libris’ Cloud Platform, built to serve libraries today and to accommodate future growth. All our library management, research & discovery, and customer & learning-focussed solutions will be overviewed.
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues worldwide we will additionally review the resources and initiatives from the ProQuest family of companies.
Remote requesting (of items held in storage) is an important customer-focussed service offered by national and state libraries. The second videoin our series will follow a remote request – from when it is placed via the library’s Primo Discovery solution, through automated workflows, until it is supplied to the customer, and eventually returned to storage.
Are BIBFRAME (Bibliographic Framework) and Linked Data finally coming-of-age? The third video in our series will track their implementation in Ex Libris’ Alma, reviewing exciting developments benefitting both library staff and customers alike.
